This is a great deal on a great electric smoker! My old Brinkmann smoker simply couldn’t stand up to the brutal winds of the Colorado prairie and I asked my wife for an upgrade for Father’s Day. I still plan on doing a review on my model which is features a glass window and a remote, but is also 5 years older. I would recommend this smoker to anyone who is looking to get started in BBQ, it takes the guess work out of minding the temperature of your pit and allows you to focus on understanding the relationships between time and temp, the smoke qualities of different woods, and crafting quality rubs. As the father of a young child, I spent a lot of time distracted, so being able to set it and otherwise forget kept me from having to give up my hobby.
