Backyard Theater Forum – This is the place to go to find other like minded individuals. The moderator has not been particularly active, so it is difficult to become a member. Plenty of content to review as a guest though. (Currently not operational)
Cracker Jack Theater – Denise was very active on Backyard Theater Forum. This website follows her efforts to build the perfect backyard theater for her grandchildren. She has an amazing setup and a beautiful yard, I would highly reccomend this site for ideas on how to do it right.
AVS Outdoor Theater Forum – This is a subforum of AVS which is geared towards hardcore technophiles. It doesn’t appear to be particularly active as of late, but you can dig through the archives for good information.
Slickdeals – This is a massive forum with deals on everything. This is where I go to keep track of the best deals on my theater equipment.
The Party Animal – This is a lengthy write up of a great kids birthday party, centered around a backyard movie.
